Alysia Fullen is a strategic advisor and organizational development expert with more than 25 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations navigate complexity, improve performance, and achieve measurable impact. She partners with government agencies, NGOs, and philanthropic foundations to develop practical, data-informed strategies that turn vision into action.

Alysia has worked in over 20 countries, giving her a nuanced understanding of both global systems and local realities. Her expertise spans strategic planning, performance management, organizational development, change management, and leadership capacity building. She has led multi-million-dollar strategy efforts for USAID missions, developed performance frameworks for the Gates Foundation, and supported process improvements at the U.S. Department of State.

Known for her collaborative and inclusive approach, Alysia brings people together. From frontline staff to senior leadership, she creates environments that foster trust, align perspectives, and ensure all voices are reflected in decisions. Her “roughly right” methodology balances data, experience, and adaptive thinking to garner consensus and move initiatives forward with clarity and momentum.

She holds an MSc in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia. A fluent Spanish speaker and former Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua, Alysia brings global perspective, local insight, and a deep commitment to learning and impact.
